The short version

We collect only what we need to make and hand you your order. Card payments are handled entirely by Square on their secure checkout page, and we never see your card number. This website has no database of its own.

When you order

Your name, phone number, email and pickup time are sent to Square, our point-of-sale provider, to create your order and receipt. We use them only to prepare your order and contact you about it.

Signing in

Signing in is optional. You can use Google, Apple or Facebook, in which case we receive your name, email address and an account ID from that service (Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email). Or you can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. There are no passwords on this site, and we never receive the password for your Google, Apple or Facebook account. We use this to keep a customer profile in our Square account so your past orders and their status show up when you sign in. You can always order as a guest instead.

Rewards

Our rewards program runs on Square Loyalty and is tied to your phone number. If you tick "Earn points" at checkout, the phone number on your order is used to add points to your rewards account (or to create one if you don't have one yet) when you pick up. Square may text you about your points balance and rewards. Your balance is shown in your account when you're signed in.

Kids Club

A parent or guardian signs up for the Kids Club. We ask for the parent's name, email and (optionally) phone number, plus each child's first name and birthday month. We don't ask for a child's last name, full birth date or any contact details for the child. This is saved to the parent's customer profile in our Square account and used only to give club perks at the counter. We never sell it or use it for advertising. To remove a child from the club, email us using the instructions below.

Cookies and your browser

If you sign in, we set one secure cookie to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Your cart and the list of orders placed from your browser are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The email sign-in and Kids Club forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly security check, to block bots.

Deleting your data

To delete your customer profile and order contact details, email support@trabelsbagels.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the email address you signed in with. We'll remove your profile from our Square customer list within 30 days. Sales records we're required to keep for tax purposes are kept without your contact details. You can also remove our app from your Google account (myaccount.google.com, then Security, then Third-party connections), Apple ID (Settings, then your name, then Sign in with Apple) or Facebook account (Settings, then Apps and Websites) at any time.
